TTE Training Ltd, a renowned institution specialising in engineering training for young professionals, required a complete refurbishment of its washroom facilities to accommodate the high traffic and heavy use from staff and students. As a hub for technical education, the facility’s washrooms needed to be both durable and functional while aligning with the company’s modern look.
The main challenge was the intensive usage of the facilities, which demanded durable, high-performance materials that could withstand daily wear and tear. The refurbishment also had to fit within a tight timeline, coinciding with TTE’s holiday shutdown period to minimise disruption to their busy training schedule.
Design and Installation
The brief called for a comprehensive overhaul of the existing washroom facilities, which included:
- New ceiling, lighting, and wall cladding: To ensure the entire space was cohesive, wall cladding was installed alongside modern, easy-to-clean flooring and updated ceiling finishes.
- Lighting upgrade: Bright and efficient lighting was installed to enhance visibility and create a clean, professional atmosphere.
- New cubicles, IPS, and vanity units: Modern fixtures replaced the outdated facilities, integrating functionality with aesthetics. Designed to withstand heavy usage while maintaining a professional appearance. The chosen colour scheme featured shades of blue, complementing the overall design of the training environment, whilst endorsing their brand colours.
- Sanitaryware and accessories: A complete set of high-quality sanitaryware and accessories were installed to complement the new design and ensure durability and ease of maintenance.
The project was completed within the tight timescale, ensuring the training facility was fully operational for the new term. The washrooms now meet the demands of high traffic while reflecting the modern, professional ethos of TTE Training Ltd.
