Spectrum had the privilege of collaborating with London Zoo, the world’s oldest scientific zoo established over 180 years ago in the heart of London, to refurbish its washroom facilities. This case study details the project’s scope, the solutions provided, and the successful outcomes achieved.
London Zoo Project Overview
London Zoo sought to upgrade its washroom areas to improve visitor experience and maintain high standards of hygiene and accessibility. The project required durable, aesthetically pleasing, functional installations that withstand high foot traffic.
Innovative Wash Trough Design
A standout feature of this project was creating a solid surface moulded wash trough, uniquely designed to be accessible from both sides. This design maximises space efficiency and allows for better visitor flow within the washroom areas.
The Result
The project was completed successfully, resulting in refurbished toilet facilities that are both functional and visually appealing. The enhancements have been well-received by visitors, contributing to an improved overall experience at London Zoo.
